T-ACE Oil

This test product is classified as a medicine (an investigational drug). It is an insoluble angiographic agent and is currently in the stage of new drug development. The purpose of its research and development is to explore its potential application in trans-arterial chemo-embolization (TACE) for liver cancer.

With support from Taiwan’s Ministry of Science and Technology, our corporation and the Food Industry Research & Development Institute (FIRDI) jointly developed T-ACE Oil. Its physical and chemical properties are currently being compared and analyzed against a product already available on the market. In animal studies using Lanyu pigs, T-ACE Oil was administered via the hepatic artery, and observations were recorded through CT scanning for research analysis.
