This product is classified as a Class III medical device. It is a new generation of drug-loaded beads, used in tandem with trans-arterial chemo-embolization (TACE). T-ACE Beads can also be developed into a comprehensive embolism bead system (including general beads, drug-loaded beads, and radioactive beads).

T-ACE Beads are biocompatible and its effects can be traced with X-ray. Through hepatic artery embolism, T-ACE Beads are able to occlude blood flow provided to the tumor in the liver, this allows anti-cancer drugs to release gradually, thus reducing medical side effects as well as strengthening treatment upsides.
